Nigerian Geniusees learnt Practical, in-demand engineering skills

This competition has been awesome, thrilling and exciting πŸ˜€
The four teams have been slugging it out since Monday, 15th July, 2024.
Β
They had arrived our facility on Friday the 12th.
Many teams applied from various universities but the four finalist teams are:

The Genuises begin their day with a brain teaser. A brain task to build or design something simple and useful.
Β
After the brainteasers they do a Daily Progress Report. A team of coaches assess them to know how they’re doing, their welfare and whatever challenges they have. We also grade them for this.
Β
After the progress reports they go into their cubicle to work on the main project.
The challenge for this year is: “𝘽π™ͺπ™žπ™‘π™™ 𝙖 π™’π™šπ™™π™žπ™˜π™–π™‘ π™™π™šπ™«π™žπ™˜π™š π™¬π™žπ™©π™ π™§π™šπ™’π™€π™©π™š π™–π™˜π™˜π™šπ™¨π™¨ 𝙖𝙣𝙙 π™’π™€π™£π™žπ™©π™€π™§π™žπ™£π™œ.”Β
The topic is quite interesting, as it covers areas of engineering from Electronics to mechanics to IoT.

The Geniuses from were instilled with strong safety mindsets and practices. Also they learnt the process of welding and fabrication.Β

Aside welding and fabrication, they also learnt gained advanced engineering skills on Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing including product design, 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving as well as CNC machining.
