Machining the Titans (3).We designed and machined the Titan M3 from the Titan building block.

Features of Titan M3Titan M3 has a circle which is a common shape in machining. It also has realistic parts with threaded holes, pocket and an O-ring groove.Remember there are several tips to consider while designing and machining the Titans. Tip 3Cutting Tool Selection:Select cutting tools specifically designed for machining the chosen material.Ensure that the tools are sharp, properly aligned, and suitable for the intended machining operations.

Features of Titan M2:The Titan M2 has a typical rectangular shape and threads similar to M1. Though the threads are a bit larger than the M1, it also has open ended slots instead of a closed pocket.

There are several tips to consider while designing and machining the Titans. The second tip is Material Selection:You must choose a high-quality aluminum or steel suitable for the application and machining process.

We designed and machined the Titan M1 from the Titan building block. FeaturesThe Titan-M1 is the first project in the “TITAN Building Blocks” series. It has a rectangle which is a commonly used shape in machining. Here, we created a realistic part that has threaded holes and a few level changes including a pocket.

Note: There are several precise steps needed to ensure that the final product meets the requirements. We will be sharing the tips as we machine each of the Titan building block series. *Tip 1 – Designing and planning*While designing your Titans, begin with a detailed design of the titan component, including its dimensions, tolerances and surface finish requirements

Titans of CNC Titan Building Block Mill is an educational build series designed for 3- axis mills. The objective of the series is to teach students how to design ten solid models in FUSION 360 that meet print specifications. We will be walking you through the CAD design, modelling, and machining process for all the Titans building blocks(1-10)

UNN Career Fair – Inverter design

Category : Blog

At the UNN engineering career fair, the students were introduced to inverter design and solar panel installation.

Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical experience, the students gained the skills and knowledge necessary to design and maintain efficient, sustainable solar energy systems.

By being part of this training, the students were equipped with the skills they need to excel in the field of renewable energy and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.

During the 2023 engineering career fair held at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, the students were introduced to virtual reality programming.

Virtual reality is an innovative and exciting way to learn the basics of coding and software development.

It typically covers a wide range of topics, including 3D modeling, animation, game engine development, and scripting. By using virtual reality, students can immerse themselves in a simulated environment where they can practice and apply their coding skills in a hands-on manner.

The faculty of engineering, University of Nigeria Nsukka in collaboration with Clintonel Innovation Centre – CIC hosted the 2023 Engineering Career Fair for engineering students in the department.

The section began with an engaging workshop where the CEO of the Clintonel Innovation Center, Mr, Tochukwu Clinton Chukwueke taught the students how to think creatively as engineering students.

Through interactive exercises and real-life examples, he emphasized the importance of innovation in the engineering field and encouraged students to embrace their creativity to become successful engineers.

IGHUB Kids Code Camp ExcursionWe had an exciting session with the kids from Innovation Growth Hub who visited our facility.

The kids were introduced to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM).The kids were able to explore the world of 3D modelling and understand how it is used in various industries.

Additionally, they learned about the process of turning designs into physical objects using CNC machines and 3D printers.#excursions
